What is a credit?
Credits are spent by the size of what SlothTube reads. A summary or quiz of a video up to about an hour long (10,000 words) is 1 credit; a three-hour video is 3. Starting a chat is 1 credit, and long chats use a little more. The price shows on every button before you press it.
Does it work on every video?
It works on any YouTube video that has captions, including automatic ones. If a video has none, SlothTube tells you and nothing is charged.
What happens to my credits at the end of the month?
Monthly credits are topped back up to your plan’s amount; unused ones don’t pile up. Credit packs, available on Plus and Pro, never expire and are used after your monthly credits.
Do you store my videos or summaries?
No. Summaries, analyses and translations are made fresh and not kept on our servers. Your own History, Notes and saved chats are kept so you can find them again, and you can delete them, or your whole account, from the extension. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
You can cancel anytime from Manage subscription. Within 14 days of your first payment, if you’ve used no more than 10% of your plan’s monthly credits, you can get that payment back in full. See the Refund Policy.
Is SlothTube made by YouTube?
No. SlothTube is an independent extension and is not affiliated with YouTube or Google.
